## Writing

- [Why a good assistant goes blind to you](https://philipalm.com/writing/why-a-good-assistant-goes-blind-to-you.md): A consequence of building an assistant that takes over your habits, and one I can't shake: the better it works, the less of you is left for it to see.
- [A shared lesson is a private one with you removed](https://philipalm.com/writing/a-shared-lesson-is-a-private-one-with-you-removed.md): More thoughts on self-improving agents, built around one I can't put down: in a shared agent, making a lesson useful to everyone and stripping out whose it was are the same act.
